Antigua and Barbuda offers investors, legal entities, and their families the opportunity to obtain citizenship and a second passport through investment. Additionally, families of six or more can receive lifelong citizenship by contributing at least $150,000 to the University of the West Indies Fund. This is the most cost-effective plan for large families in the Caribbean, and beyond the low cost of obtaining citizenship, one family member can also study for one year for free at the university.
Applicants are required to spend at least five days within five years of obtaining citizenship to familiarize themselves with the local culture on the island.
